Well, as bad as I didn't want to use my last sick day of the year...I broke down and used it, so I could go to the doctor. So, I thought I would just run to CVS and try out there "Minute Clinic", but the nurse thought my chest sounded funny...possible pneumonia, so she sent me a couple miles down the road to Urgent Care who got me right in and were all sweet as could be. Ends up that I've got Bronchitis...fun, fun...and I'm contagious! People at work are gonna love that! They also took a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia...there was a spot that they weren't sure about, so I'm waiting to hear back from the radiologist to see if it was nothing or the start of pneumonia. Hopefully, it was nothing! Anyways, that's the scoop...they got me hooked up with a Z-pak and some cough syrup for the evenings and said I should feel better in a couple days. Hope I'm a lot better for tomorrow though...I really don't wanna feel like poo during the concert! Well, I'm going to go kick back and get some rest...Talk to you all later!

The Verdict Is In...

Yuck! My husband and I were just discussing the American wacked out ideas about sick days. We used to live in Holland, and in Holland, when you're sick, you're sick. There was a guy at his office who hadn't been in for months just because he was stressed out or something. He was still being paid. That's obviously taking advantage of the system, but it seems so silly to me that people have a limited number of days they are allowed to be sick.
